About Us

Love God. Love people. Educate for eternity. We believe that true Christian education can instill a spirit of discovery, innovation, and well-rounded thought that prepares students to be global citizen leaders in public, private and social sectors. NCSA supports member schools as they do all of these things with excellence.

Since 1985.

The National Christian School Association started in 1985 as an accrediting agency for schools associated with the churches of Christ in Texas. NCSA has grown into an accrediting and support agency that serves Christian schools all over the country. In 1994, Pike’s Peak Christian School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, became the first school outside of Texas to earn NCSA accreditation. Today, NCSA serves nearly 100 Christian schools across North America.

Our mission is clear as Christians. We are to go and tell the world about the good news of Jesus. We are to love God and love people. The National Christian School Association exists to help its member schools grow the kingdom through its students, uphold Christian principles, and commit to academic excellence in the process.

What NCSA does for its members?

“NCSA schools emphasize the student’s personal growth in their relationship with Jesus and that they would love God with their heart, soul and mind. When that happens, an environment is created where faculty, staff and students will grow ‘in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men’ (Luke 2:52).”
